About AnnaLeesa

I'm proud of where I am today acting in film and on stage and teaching classes. Sometimes we forget to be proud of ourselves or think it to be selfish. But its not. I pride myself in my adaptability, hard work ethic, and commitment to diverse inclusive art that shares stories and works toward a worthy cause.

Acting has the ability to tell stories of the unheard and make societal and political change.

I strive to be the change.

Acting has the ability to create an escape from the world around us.

I strive to be the escape.

Acting has the ability to unite us all And help us feel seen and loved.

I strive to see and love others.

Hi There, I'm AnnaLeesa!

I was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah... then Aurora, Colorado... and then Omaha, Nebraska. BUt I would say I strongly identify with my Canadian dual citizenship the most due to my upbringing and albertan accent I slip into when I am tired. I Am currently based out of Nebraska and always ready to take on a new project!

Ever since I was a child, I have seen the importance of story telling in my life, on screen, and on stage. From the age of 3, I was infatuated with the opera, (thanks to my dad's friend at the Utah opera giving me and my mum free tickets frequently) and that's when my acting journey began.

From making "studio c -esque" sketches on an iPod with the neighborhood kids, to theatre camps, to high school theatre, to voice lessons, to my BFA in Acting, to now, acting and story telling has been within me my whole life. It makes me think how different my life could have been if I didn't do these things.
